An outfit for every occasion: Summer Edition (River Island)

 

Grab your sunglasses, passport and get your summer wardrobe ready because River Island have launched their summer selection. I’ve pulled together some of my favourite pieces to get you prepared for every occasion of the season.

Brunch

I’ll have a mimosa please! This statement floral dress is both comfy and sophisticated, plus gives you enough space to knock out your dance moves after one too many drinks. The puff sleeves and square neckline will let you show off your summer tan, you could even throw a bikini underneath, just in case.

Beach

No matter beach or pool, a statement sun lounging set is needed. This set feels a lot like something you would see Maddy from Euphoria wearing so who isn’t going to love it? In a variation of three colours, you can tone it up or tone it down with this cut-out two pieces.

Clubbing

No more dropping your coat off at the cloakroom so it’s time to have an outfit you can really show off while you wait at the bar. This green swirl playsuit is a throwback to the 70s so grab those gold earrings and get your sunglasses and we can really feel the decade.

 

Airport Ready
The Holiday doesn’t start when you get there but when you turn up to the airport. Comfy but not casual, this 2000’s inspired tracksuit is something that needs to be your next purchase. With diamante detail, it’s the perfect outfit for chilling out on your flight.

Beer Garden

For when you’re going out, but not out out. The red printed corset top is perfect on its own, or to be layered with a leather coat later in the evening if it starts to get cold. 

With a pair of straight leg jeans, this outfit is for sitting with the sun shining down on you, whilst sipping on your favourite cider. You can never go wrong with jeans and a nice top.
